The ministers of the St. Cecilia  Parish baptismal preparation program play an especially important role in the formation of parents and godparents as they look forward to welcoming their child as a member of the Church through the sacrament of Baptism, the first Sacrament of Christian Initiation.

Part of that preparation includes a pre-baptism class for parents, so that they may more properly understand their responsibilities in raising their child in the practice of the Catholic faith. Our ministers of the baptism program are dedicated volunteers who are personally committed to our Catholic faith and are enthusiastic in their desire to assist parents in their role as “the first teachers of their child in the ways of faith.”  

If you have recently given birth to a child or about to give birth, or have any questions about the process, please contact the parish office (732-329-2893) so that you can be enrolled in one of these classes. 

Please click on the form below, fill it out, print it, and bring it with you to the Baptism Class or submit it to the Parish office at least one month prior to the scheduled Baptism.
