Stations of the Cross
The power of the Way of the Cross is that we are invited to place our own struggles, loneliness and sufferings within the passion of Jesus.
During Lent we pray the Stations of the Cross each Friday evening at 7:00 PM. This year we are pleased to announce that the liturgies will be led by various ministry groups of our parish. The schedule is:
|March 14, 2014
Friday of the First Week of Lent
|Columbiettes||Mary, The Mother of Jesus|
|March 21, 2014
Friday of the Second Week of Lent
|Knights of Columbus||The Way of the Cross – Sign of Contradiction|
|March 28, 2014
Friday of the Third Week of Lent
|Readers Ministry||Mary, The Mother of Jesus|
|April 4, 2014
Friday of the Fourth Week of Lent
|Religious Education||Expressions of the Cross|
|April 11, 2014
Friday of the Fifth Week of Lent
|Choir||Celtic Publication – The Way of the Cross|
Please make praying the Way of the Cross with us an important part of your Lenten Preparation. Please also feel free to invite whomever you think would be interested in participating in this prayerful reflection.
Lenten Pasta Dinners & Bake Sale
On Friday, March 7, 14, 21, 28, April 4 & 11th, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, there will be a pasta dinner provided before the weekly 7:00 PM Stations of the Cross. The dinners are courtesy of the Knights of Columbus and Stewardship.
Columbietties will also be hosting a bake sale each week during the Stations of the Cross.
